My link with him goes back to 2005 when I appeared as a tourist in that beautiful village: the one of the blacks, the gnawa music, the one of former slaves, called Khamlia where he is originally from and where from the first day a very nice feeling was created between the two of us. Although I am from Cantabria, at that time I was working as a teacher in Madrid and when I returned from my trip, the possibility of carrying out an educational project in that area came to my mind. And so it was, just as I showed the idea to the director, he gave his approval and “Proyecto Oasis” was launched.
Life has taken many turns since then, but there is always something there that unites us, that lets us know about each other, that we do our best to see each other and share some time together to see how life is going for both of us.
